The UQ Rugby Academy is excited to launch its inaugural Sevens Development program.

Former national touch football Bernie Morrison will coach the program bringing his skills over from work as a consultant and attacking coach for the ACT Brumbies.

“We’re really excited to have Bernie on board,” UQ Rugby Football Club Manager David Enfantie said.

The UQ RA has had a rich history of Sevens representatives coming through the ranks, the most recent being Premier Grade centre Con Foley who represented Australia earlier this year.

“The UQ Rugby Academy has greatly helped me reach the heights to help me represent Australia on the IRB World Sevens circuit,” Foley said.

“They provide first class education on and off the rugby field and I would highly recommend this program to aspiring sevens players.”

The Program will commence in January next year from the 14th-18th. Click here for more information about the program.
